sandfliys writing

Sandflies writing
By Meka.w

Where do they live
Most sand flies are found on the west coast because of all of
the water and bush. Sand Flies like to live in lakes, rivers, swamps,
and beaches.

First-person
The first person to call them sandflies was Captain cook,
but overseas they call them blackflies.

Why I think they are called sandflies-
I think they are called sand flies because they like to live by
places by sand and sand/dirt kind of thing.

The cycle of sandflies
The female sand flies lay their eggs by the water.
Then the eggs turn into larva, then into pupa then into sandflies,
that is how more sand flies are made.
