today for activity 3 I had a dream.
I had a dream that I and my family was on a plane to go and see a pretty beach in Fiji and on the way there the plane broke down a crashed on to an island and i did not know where I was with my family but the good thing was that no one DIY in the crash but the bad thing was we did not know where we were. everyone walked around the island when we got to the other side of the island we saw that it was Fiji and it was a pretty beach wow I said it was soooo cool to look at the end

Discovering Aotearoa

Did you know that many people believe that Kupe was the first person to discover Aotearoa, New Zealand in about 1300.navigated from Hawaiki to Aotearoa using the stars, sun, and ocean swells. In 1642 Abel Tasman came from The Netherlands to New Zealand. He thought that he was the first person to ‘discover’ the country, even though Māori already lived here! Kupe and Abel Tasman came from two very different cultures but they both wanted to explore the world.

WALT: make a summer learning journey post. this week we for the summer learning journey we did the teaser week we were doing it about Lorde. i like to find out the facts about an amazing singer.

kiwi kids news

WALT: summerise what we have a reed on kiwi kids news.we had to find a post and then put it on this shet and the one that I did it did not have tow of the questions. I did not like how when I was doing it I had to go and read then come back and forget what to do.

Today we were learning how to make graphs and we were seeing how many blog posts we have done each year we have been blogging. The most challenging part was trying to get the graphs into the google sheets.

Walt about Dick Frizzell. We are learning about him because he is a New Zealand artist and for Paroa schools Kiwiana Christmas parade. so miss farr said that we had to make our own art so we would get the flow of Dick Frizzell art.

I learned how to draw a bike. my art because it was hard to make the image small. I liked  drop everything and write because I love making storys.

Reflection

this week I larnt how to make connections with my learning/ reding to your life, the world, and another book. I fond hard this week is my maths because it was hard to solve problems using a standard written form I had to do two lessons with the teacher to know what I was doing. I liked doing free writing because I get to make up stories.

The great pitch garbage patch (gpgp) is 3x the size of france and the gpgp is placed in between Hawaii and mainland california.

The gpgp is made of old plastic that has been washed out to sea or the wind has brought it to the sea.

The gpgp has been around since 1919 but it was only discovered in1993.

What does the gpgp do to our earth ?

You can affect the world by putting rubbish out of your windows .

today in class w made beeswax raps this is my one. we did it for the environment we are trying to make less plastic so we wanted to make beeswax raps. my favorite bit was making the label

how to make beeswax wraps.

Do you know that every day you use glad wrap, do you know how to fix it. Will we do,
use beeswax wraps. If you have square beeswax wraps you can put it on a circle thing too
because you can put a rubber band around the beeswax wraps.

To make beeswax wraps you need:

1. Fabric any that you like.
2. Special scissors, so the fabric won’t get all fluffy on the side of the fabric
3. You need to get the beeswax.
4. You can choose the shape that you like it can be a circle or square.
5. An iron

Method:

Dry and watch the fabric then iron the fabric.

Cut the fabric with the special scissors into the shape that you like.  

Dip the shape of your fabric in and let the external wax drip off then lay them on a tray.

Bake in a low oven for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from the oven and when it is cool enough to pick up hold it by the very edges then gently
flap the entry flap the want all the wax is probably room Asperger.

Lay the beeswax wraps to start the drying process for an hour.

Care instructions:

The beeswax wraps can handle a light scrub with a gentle dishcloth or sponge. Hand Wash your
beeswax with cold water and alcohol-free soap. Put a bit of cold water in your sink and add soap. Don’t
let it soak for a period of time. Dry your freshly washed wrap with a towel for immediate use or place
over a dish rack.

To wash the beeswax wrap you wipe the food what was on it first,  then wash the wrap with cold water
and dry it with a cloth gently.

Hi, I am Meka and I have been doing dancing for 7 years now so that means that I have been doing it sins I was 2. this year me and my friends came first for doing a dance the song was call me maybe. today there is a talent show and I am doing the same dance. I hope that I will win my friend is doing it to and she is singing. let's go back to when we were talking about my dancing when I was growing up I had so many songs that I liked I nest to dance to Hakuna Matata it was my fav song.
