10 things i would take on a boat for 3 weeks

 

For the SLJ we did 10 things that you would take for 3 weeks on a boat. there is a lot of food and this is what we picked. Did you know that marshmallows last for at least 5 to 10 months. my class helped Takutai sign up for the SLJ then we watched a video. we are teaching them how to blog. by Meka

 This is my second activate for the summer learning journey. this one was hard but easy it was hard because i have to redo it. I did it on paper first then I did it on my Chromebook. I like how it turned out on my Chromebook. by Meka.

Activity 3

today for activity 3 I had a dream.
I had a dream that I and my family was on a plane to go and see a pretty beach in Fiji and on the way there the plane broke down a crashed on to an island and i did not know where I was with my family but the good thing was that no one DIY in the crash but the bad thing was we did not know where we were. everyone walked around the island when we got to the other side of the island we saw that it was Fiji and it was a pretty beach wow I said it was soooo cool to look at the end

Discovering Aotearoa

Did you know that many people believe that Kupe was the first person to discover Aotearoa, New Zealand in about 1300.navigated from Hawaiki to Aotearoa using the stars, sun, and ocean swells. In 1642 Abel Tasman came from The Netherlands to New Zealand. He thought that he was the first person to ‘discover’ the country, even though Māori already lived here! Kupe and Abel Tasman came from two very different cultures but they both wanted to explore the world.
