This week for our weekly quiz we had to do about The 10 great walks in New Zealand it was fun but challenging we had 2 hours to do it and 10 walks to write about. The only one I knew about was the Paparoa track. by Meka

For the last 3 weeks for writing, we have been writing a script and so we had to make a video to show how to play a game. there were some ups and downs but it was easy to write but hard to film and put together. my favorite part of making this video was writing the subtitles. By Meka.

This week I have been sick but I still had to do my work at home so here is my 3 task for literacy. Banksy is a really nice artist but I would never buy it for 9.8 million that's a lot of money my mum does not even have 5 thousand. my favorite part of making this was looking at Banksy's art.  lily pads how to play.

Lily pads is a fun and competitive game to play.

Time 

The amount of time you need to play is 3 minutes for one round each. there are 4 rounds. 2 rounds for each team.

Equipment

• 6 hula hoops 
• 15 or more mini bean bags
• Safe zone at one end of the court
• A bucket to put the mini bean bags in ]
• A court

What your court should look like.

The safe zone should be one meter apart. At one end of the court, there is a safe zone.

How to play 

1. You need two even teams to play.

2.You need to pick a team to be guards to stop the other team from getting the mini bean bags to the other side.

3.When you get to the other side with the mini bean bags you grab one and try and get back to your side with your mini bean bag. If you get tagged with your mini bean bag drop your mini bean bag and go back to the start again.

4. After a round is over you swap teams and do it over again.

5. After 4 rounds you see who got the most mini bean bag and that team are the winners.

Rules 

• If you're in a hula hoop you are safe.
• You have to stay 2 meters away from a hula hoop if someones in it.

today Tahlia and I have been busy making this DLO and we picked relating to others because people should be able to know what is relating to others and how it works. My favorite part is the way that people can help and relate to others. By Tahlia and Meka. 

sportsmanship activity 3

We are learning to be good sportsmanship. For this activity, we had to read text A and text B. Text A was the bad sportsmanship text, and text B was the good sportsmanship text. Me and Tahlia's favorite part was thinking of the ideas/good and bad. By Meka and Tahlia.   

Camp Recount

 It was a cold morning at Paroa School getting ready for a long week ahead.

Everyone hopped into there vehicles. As the long road trip began. After the first stop, we were all putting our hands out the window and wave to all the other cars behind and in front of us. Sadly Katelyn and I could not because we were in the backseat.

when we finally got to the camp we all wanted to see the cabins. but not really we just wanted the top bunks.

when we had the cabins sorted we started our first activity. My first activity was team rescue. it was no that fun. After team rescue, we did the Burma trail. Bella keeps falling over it was so funny. My third activity was the top team, my team came second.

That night for tea we had hard noodles, veggies, salad, meatballs, and rice. We got ready for bed and went to sleep.

Wednesday

Katelyn, Eden, Clara, Tahlia and I were talking in our cabin till we could get breakfast. when the gong rang it was time for breakfast. Everyone went to there seat. we did a pray and got to eat our yum breakfast.

our first activity of the day was laser tag. The man talked to us about how to play. It was fun at the start until my gun brock. On the last, my gun stopped working and the man was gone. So I had to watch like the whole game when the man came back he joined me back into the game. when there was 1 minute left. After we did laser tag we had morning tea.

our second activity was low ropes. It was kinda fun. our second round was fun because we got to have a race my time was 2 minutes and 45 seconds. After low ropes we had lunch I can't remember what I had.

our 3rd activity was team initiative was so fun. There was one where you had to get put the tiers onto another pole. No one was listening to me and in the end, they finally listened to me and we got it.

After team initiative, we when on to our next activity.

Our 4th activity was orienteering it was kinda fun we could not find 10, 3,19, and 4 they were so hard and the next day we found number 19.

After orienteering, we got some free time. At water time they had the blue water slide going I went down it 3 times then I went into the pool. After water time I got some donuts from Luke's uncle they were so good.

we had tea and got some more free time. Then we got ready for bed.

Thursday 

We work up and got ready for the day. We stayed in our cabin for a bit until we were taled to get some breakfast.

our 1st activity was abseiling it was so fun and scary. on the way up I touched a spider web so I was trying to get to the top faster. on my second turn, I got sent back down because there was no time left. 

After abseiling we had morning tea and we had fruit and sweets.

Our second activity was kayaking it was so much fun. Mack sunk his kayak and everyone tried to help him when he made it back to the sore. He was not allowed back in the water. we played lots of different games in the kayaks.

After kayaking, we had some lunch. I can't remember what I had. Our third activity was archery was kinda boring, because I didn't hit the target I just kept hitting the grass.

After archery, we when into our next activity.

Our 4th activity was fire and damper. My damper was half cook. if we ate the damper we got some chocolate yum.

After our last activity, we had some free time until everyone was finished. we got some water time then had some more free time till tea.

After tea, we got ready for the concert. My team comes second with Barbi girl dance/lip singing. After the concert, we got ready for bed and started packing then we got told to go to bed.

Friday

We woke up on Friday morning and started packing and cleaning.

Our last activity was getting fresh it was fun at the start then it got annoying because everyone was cheating. After our last activity, we had morning tea the hit the road.

for the rest of the term, we are doing a novel study. This activity is when you read the book until you find the character in the book. My two main characters Worm and Max. This activity was very fun. I would like to do it again. this took tow days to make and it was very hard. By Meka
