Diwali Rangoli Patterns

 

For this term, we have been learning about Diwali and Rangoli stuff and today I have been doing rangoli patterns and this one is mine it looks a long time to make hope you like it. It is not copied like some people might do. it was hard to make on digital. But other than that it was good.

Today I made a new comic. I liked making this because it's funny and sad. it took a bit of effet into making this. my favorite part of the comic is the party because the little sister side sis can I play and they aren't playing they are talking.the hardest part was when I lost the comice but then I got it back. for maths this week we have learned about temper the hottest country in the world and the coldest country in the world. the coldest country in the world is Russia and the hottest in the world in Burkina Faso. I liked making hot and cold words. the research was hard to do because I could not find lots about the 2 countries.

For writing, we had to make a comic of a story and I picked the 3 little pigs. I liked making the comic. It was fun making the comic because I could make it the way I wanted. It was hard to work the app at first after a bit it got easier.

Today we did a pobble about snowmen, it was hard to do for me I could not think of a story about the snowmen crowding outside of a girl and her family house. The hardest part of this was the writing. my favorite part was making the snowman. by Meka

DLO of Diwali

 

Today we are researching and making a DLO about Diwali. They have beautiful colors and their designs are different but pretty. My favorite part was making my own design. The holiday is very long and loud but fun. it looks Bizzy all 5 days of the holiday. the shop people work all those 5 days because so people can get more decorations. By Meka.

For the last 3 weeks for writing, we have been writing a script and so we had to make a video to show how to play a game. there were some ups and downs but it was easy to write but hard to film and put together. my favorite part of making this video was writing the subtitles. By Meka.

For this week's quiz, I picked the world's most expensive mask. It was interesting to research. My favorite part is looking at the amazing mask. the mask is 1.5 million dollars that's a lot of money for a mask. i would add more pitches and slides but I don't have a time

This week I have been sick but I still had to do my work at home so here is my 3 task for literacy. Banksy is a really nice artist but I would never buy it for 9.8 million that's a lot of money my mum does not even have 5 thousand. my favorite part of making this was looking at Banksy's art. For the past 3 weeks when have been making a video for our buddy class Awa. I think it's a great way to teach a class how to play a game. I disklike that we were not working as a team. It's easier work and listing as a team not saying 2 people have voted now we have to do it that way. capture the flag is a fun game can you play it by watching this video or teach you class? DLO of Toi moko

 

 

This week for our weekly quiz we had to research about Toi moko. Toi moko is the art of the body. I don't have a favorite part it's kinda creepy to think about it gives me the shivers. we should not think it of a creepy thing it is the history of our country of NZ. we don't know who these people are but they gave us their heads to keep to this day which is nice but creepy.  More people need to respect this about NZ.

DLO for coral reefs

 

for this week's DLO Emily and I made a poster. My favorite part is how we worked together and the way that this came together without talking. Next time I think we should work on adding more photos.

Lily pads is a fun and competitive game to play.

Time 

The amount of time you need to play is 3 minutes for one round each. there are 4 rounds. 2 rounds for each team.

Equipment

• 6 hula hoops 
• 15 or more mini bean bags
• Safe zone at one end of the court
• A bucket to put the mini bean bags in ]
• A court

What your court should look like.

The safe zone should be one meter apart. At one end of the court, there is a safe zone.

How to play 

1. You need two even teams to play.

2.You need to pick a team to be guards to stop the other team from getting the mini bean bags to the other side.

3.When you get to the other side with the mini bean bags you grab one and try and get back to your side with your mini bean bag. If you get tagged with your mini bean bag drop your mini bean bag and go back to the start again.

4. After a round is over you swap teams and do it over again.

5. After 4 rounds you see who got the most mini bean bag and that team are the winners.

Rules 

• If you're in a hula hoop you are safe.
• You have to stay 2 meters away from a hula hoop if someones in it.

today Tahlia and I have been busy making this DLO and we picked relating to others because people should be able to know what is relating to others and how it works. My favorite part is the way that people can help and relate to others. By Tahlia and Meka.

We are learning to be good sportsmanship. For this activity, we had to read text A and text B. Text A was the bad sportsmanship text, and text B was the good sportsmanship text. Me and Tahlia's favorite part was thinking of the ideas/good and bad. By Meka and Tahlia.   

Alfred Nobel

Today we have been learning about Alfred Nobel. We had to make something to explain -how -where -what -when -why and -how. I made a slide with information and a little movie at the end. it was very fun to make. my favorite part was the little movie.

1. What did Novak Djokovic do to make him default from the US open? That he hit the side line judge with a tennis ball to her throat.

2. What rule did Djokovic break? intentionally hitting a ball dangerously or recklessly within the court or hitting a ball with negligent disregard of the consequences. As hitting a ball and not thinking of what will happen.

3. Do you agree with Djokovic’s punishment? Why? Explain. Because he didn’t think about the consequences when hitting the ball into her person.   

4. Watch the video in the article. Do you agree with what the man said? Explain.  I agree with the man because he was acting like a little kid, because he was losing.

5. Should professional sportsmen and women let their emotions get the best of them while play? Explain. No because they always have to get there way and with this happening it's like little little kids having a hissy fit.
